HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED WHY SHOULD OUR FEET FIT THE FOOTWEAR IF THE FOOTWEAR COULD FIT OUR FEET?
We have. We were tired of uncomfortable footwear that deforms feet, that does not encourage the natural movement of the body, that causes blisters and has been designed for everybody, yet for no one. So, we’ve decided to create data driven, made-to-measure footwear.
FOOTWEAR BEYOND SIZES
There are more different shapes of feet than different shapes of footwear. In order to produce footwear that exceeds standardized sizing, we started to use data acquired with 3D foot scan technology and are designing customisable virtual shoe last.
We are simultaneously developing customisable sole, upper pattern and hybrid footwear manufacturing process that excludes upper lasting and the use of physical shoe last. We are convinced that by removing physical shoe last from the production process we can achieve fast and affordable made-to-measure shoe manufacturing. Instead of injecting material into rigid molds, we are researching the use of flexible filaments in 3D printing technology to create our made-to-measure soles.
All combine; we will be able to create footwear adjusted to the actual dimensions of the individual's foot. Once established, the process of footwear manufacturing will be fast and cost efficient. We named the footwear based on such technology No Number footwear. Footwear beyond sizes.

With the use of new technologies and innovations, we will shorten the manufacturing process of made-to-measure shoes and reduce material consumption.
COMFORT AND AFFORDABILITY
No Number footwear buyers will gain access to comfortable and affordable made-to-measure footwear with a simple scan of their feet.
Our aim is to raise consumption awareness and thoughtfull spending habits - one shall wear one well fitted, rather than many ill-fitted shoes. We want to possitively influence consumer's behaviour, reduce waste and save energy.
We are currently in phase one of our project and planning to complete it until December 2022. Our goals during the completion of the phase are following: Costumizable footwear technology production verification, its upgrade and its feasibility test.
To achieve goals we have set the following milstones: The possibility to design footwear based on scanned data by the end of June 2022, produce the first prototype pair of No Number footwear by the end of December 2022 and to start setting the production, following two month after the finished prototype.
